The Aspirations of Venture Capitalist and Philanthropist Marc Sparks

Marc Sparks is a successful venture capitalist and entrepreneur. Besides heading Timber Creek Capital, he also handles several portfolio businesses. Marc is renowned for his innate talent and expertise in growing companies. He is passionate about establishing businesses, bringing them to the top, and moving on to establish other businesses. Due to his business growth success, companies hire him to strengthen their presence in their industries and better their sales. Throughout his career, he has been broadly involved with a remarkable number of firms in the telecommunication industry. Philanthropy Work

 

Besides business ventures, Marc Sparks has done extensive philanthropy work particularly in Dallas where he resides with his family. He is dedicated to providing what he can and giving back to the community to make Dallas area a better place. For many years, Sparks has been largely involved with the Samaritan Inn, a homeless shelter. He started working with the Samaritan Inn since the early 80s.

 

Marc Sparks has also been involved in other community work. For instance, he is in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, an organization committed to constructing small homes, particularly for homeless families. He also supports an organization known as American Can Academy. The organization is a magnet program designed specifically to help high schools in Dallas. Marc Sparks doesn’t just give donations. He volunteers his time too.

 

A couple of years ago, Marc developed a writing interest. He began writing a non-fiction book detailing his business journey and career so far. In his book titled “They Can’t Eat You,” Marc Sparks urges people not to give up. The book offers lots of important insights on how to handle a company and work in business.
